MiniMonos is a virtual world for kids, focused on sustainability, generosity, community and fun.

At MiniMonos, we see our members as good kids, not good consumers. We hope your child will find MiniMonos to be a place to have fun, grow, make connections, and learn about the environment and the ways in which everything is interconnected.

Your child needs your approval in order to play in this virtual world, and we look forward to developing a relationship with you. You deserve to know who we are, what we're up to, and how your child's information may be used. You also deserve to participate in what we're doing: comment on our blog, chat with us via our grownups' Twitter account, or connect with us on Facebook.

The first thing you should know is that we will NEVER sell or share your child's information with anyone else—period.

The only information we need to activate your child's account is a name for his or her avatar, a password, and an email address for a parent. We encourage children not to use their surname when registering. If your child has done so, please feel free to create a new account with a more appropriate nickname. As the parent, you have the opportunity to help us serve you and your children better by supplying us additional, optional information once your child has signed up.

We will use the emails you supply us to contact you directly regarding your child's MiniMonos account. If you supply us with an email for your child, we will use that to communicate with your child about exciting new games, features, and developments at MiniMonos.

In order to preserve the safety of MiniMonos, we monitor all conversation, both public and friend-to-friend, on our site. Members who breach our terms may receive a guiding message, a warning message, or be banned permanently depending on the history of the situation and the severity of the breach.

Right now, we don't sell any products at all through MiniMonos. If we ever do, they will be products that are in alignment with our core values, such as seedling trees or compost bins.

You have the right to review the information we have about your child at any time, and to request that it be deleted and that we not collect any further personal information from your child.

If you ever have any questions about our privacy policy or what we're doing at MiniMonos, we welcome you to contact us.

Thanks again for allowing your child to explore and flourish at MiniMonos. We look forward to a long-lasting relationship!
